PROMETHEUS high-speed motor with hard pinion gear, long shaft

The Prometheus motor series considers multiple factors to drive traditional motor design. The pinion gear, often soft or weak, is designed with greater care and attention. The EG Hard pinion comes standard, pre-installed on all Prometheus motors. The cold-forged chrome-moly pinion offers superior strength, precision machining for much quieter engagement, and overall reliability, as it won't crack or warp, even under heavy loads. Prometheus motors are precision machined to match our EG Hard gear series and incorporate an aluminum end cap for improved heat dispersion and reduced wear from motor height adjustments.
